Salvador Alvarado serves as ground coach and talent scout for Cross Creek West. Sal is a well known figure on California’s hunter-jumper circuit. As the eldest of three brothers, he was the first of the Alvarado family to discover the world of show jumping, and he was responsible for steering his younger brothers on their current career paths as horsemen. Salvador frequently travels to Europe on buying trips to import horses to both the U. S. and Mexico. He has been instrumental in the discovery and acquisition of several top level show jumpers for Cross Creek West, including Socrates de Midos, Clintord I, Xel Ha, Central Park, and many others.
